What happen to quality Video Game Consoles?

If you are a gamer, like me than you know about video game consoles and how they seem to fail. I am currently on my second xbox 360 because the first one got the rrod (red ring of death) but still worked for a couple of more months before the disc drive stoped working. I am also on my second ps2 because of the same problem. One of the first consoles to experience hard ware failure was the original playstation. from what i understand the drive assembly was made out of plastic and it seemed to actually warp. sony soon fixed this. Since then consoles failure has been on the rise. Years ago when all the rage was for the atari 2600 and the Nintendo NES video game consoles seem to be fairly indestructible along with the games. You actually got to enjoy the video console for years insted of two years. Its is really going to be sad 50 years from know when kids say "what the hell is a xbox" and you cant show them one because most well be broken by then, but i bet there will be some nintendos and segas still kickin'.

My College Essay

Here is my collage essay from September 29th 2009. I decided to take the Scenic route and write a "smart ass" essay because all the ones i have have read in class seem to just suck up to who ever is reading it. ENJOY!

Quote on Collage

"On the day you cease to change, you cease to live". This quote by Anthony De Mello most likely has a different meaning than what he intended it to mean. He probably ment to say that the day you cease to learn something new you are basically forcing yourself to stop living. I could ramble on and on about how this quote would apply to my life and how it would all work out for me in my future education in your school.

I could even go as far as saying a cheesy metaphor (I'm sure you read a lot of these) like how life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what you are going to get, or how we are all like a caterpillar in our cocoons growing over the years and finally breaking out of the shell to become a butterfly, and explain that i am somehow a insect that would succeed in your marvelous school. The quote cold also translate to the day you stop being yourself you basically are not living to your full potential. How this quote applies to a essay for collage i have no idea, but between all the partying and the sporadic studying someone who hears this quote will finally get what this quote actually means because i'm not Anthony De Mello, and i have no idea who this guy is.

Well? i think its amazing. but long story short i got a big ol' fat F.

My Favorite Console

Thats right a Nintendo 64, with of course southpark. Even though i have a 360, PS2, NES, SNES, DSi i still find my self always playing the n64. I dont know why but it seems much more simpler then memory cards and discs.

Building a cheap PC

There is a lot of people out there who like to build computers. I have built a couple over the past few years and it seems even though the hardware gets better it also seems to get more expensive. so over the past few days i will show case some pc parts that are on the cheap. so for this first post in the series lets start with the motherboard. Currently the cheapest motherboard processor combo. The Intel Atom (the same one used in the "hip" netbooks) is very cheap and cabable. the Foxconn 45CS which is roughly $60 at newegg. it is a mini itx motherboard which is on of the smallest you can get. the atom is also compatable with every major os. but currently osx leopard not snow leopard supports the atom.
